First series of tests on the weight of the beads that are used to mount the nymphs.
I use white beads primarily to make grayling nymphs, but I assure you the trout take them anyway.
Here are the results of the measurement.
The beads were weighed set of 10, so you need to divide by 10 the total weight displayed.
Tungsten beads: 1.16 g JMC white printed tungsten beads T1 – 2,8 mn
Brass beads : 0.68 g JMC white orinted brass beads T1 – 2,8 mn
Brass beads are 42% light weight from tungsten beads in 2,8 mn.
This measure allow you to choose the beads for each kind of river and places you want to fish.
tungsten to fish deeper or in heavy stream. Brass beads to fish slow stream or between to water.
